A Year of Gratitude

As we close the book on 2024, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the moments, milestones, and memories that made this year unforgettable. It’s been a year filled with joy, growth, and meaningful connections—and we are deeply thankful to everyone who has shared this journey with us.

This year, Wild Tree played a part in some of life’s most profound moments. We celebrated three beautiful weddings and two births, and we supported a team member in their loss of a beloved family member. These experiences remind us of what it means to be human and the importance of celebrating and grieving together in community. We hold these memories—with all their joy and pain—with deep love and reverence.

This year also saw Wild Tree stretch its branches to new heights—literally! The Twin Leaf Treehouse, our largest treehouse project to date, is now complete and welcoming guests as a short-term rental. Nestled in nature and built with care, it’s already become a favorite retreat for those seeking solace and adventure. We also had the joy of working on the Gazebo Treehouse on Orcas Island and collaborating with clients on a variety of builds, from finishing touches to large-scale visions.

On the creative front, Hutch’s new book, “Cabin: Off the Grid Adventures with a Clueless Craftsman,” found its way into the world and has been met with love and acclaim. We couldn’t be prouder of the stories and wisdom Hutch is sharing. It’s an inspiration to all of us.

We’d also like to give a shout-out to two of our strategic partners:

  • Limen has guided us toward a deeper connection to our purpose— creating elevated living spaces that reconnect us to the wild within and to the wonderful wild outside. Limen’s regenerative focus inspires us to continue building treehouses in harmony with the living beings that support them, while implementing marketing strategies that broaden opportunities to fulfill our purpose.

  • For three years Helm has provided invaluable operational expertise, coaching, and wisdom, ensuring that we have the practical tools and systems needed to bring our visions to life with efficiency and excellence.

Looking ahead to 2025, we are filled with excitement for soulful projects both big and small. There’s a quiet transformation happening within Wild Tree—organizational changes designed to nurture the health and longevity of our team and our work.

To all of you—our clients, collaborators, and community—thank you for being part of Wild Tree’s ongoing story. Your trust, creativity, and shared vision make this work meaningful. Here’s to stepping into the new year with open hearts, strong roots, and the promise of healthy, sustainable growth.

With gratitude,

The Wild Tree Woodworks Team
