The Lakeside Treehouse
Life at the lake just got sweeter.
Very rarely do we build outside our home state of Washington. However, for this memorable project in Idaho, we were truly inspired by the setting and by our delightful clients Barbara and Tom.
Barbara reached out to us because she adored our Salal Treehouse. In fact, she could picture nothing other than her grandkids playing in the Salal Treehouse! It was quite a compliment to hear that we cannot improve upon something we have done. At the initial site visit with David, however, the project scope was refined: include a loft, two decks rather than one, electricity for lights, and build-in two stained glass pieces that Barbara had collected. This treehouse would be Salal 2.0.
The build was a straight, one-month push for the crew, led by Charlie. Good planning kept the project on schedule and completed on budget.
